- Will my sterling silver ring turn my finger green or black?
About 1 in 60 people experience green or black discoloration from wearing sterling silver jewelry. Changes in your skin’s acidity may cause a chemical reaction which can create the green or black discoloration of your skin. Keeping your ring clean, by polishing it often, will minimize this effect. In a few days of wearing the ring, the discoloration will go away. If you have a sensitivity to sterling silver that you are aware of, please contact a customer service representative to find out which rings in our collection will be right for you.
- How do I care for my sterling silver jewelry?
Caring for your sterling silver jewelry is easy. Try to keep it clean from lotions, perfumes, hairspray, etc. because these chemicals may make your ring tarnish more quickly. When you’re not wearing your ring, store it in the jewelry box or pouch provided with your purchase. A silver polishing cloth is all that’s needed to clean and polish your ring if/when it becomes dull and tarnished. Tarnish is a natural occurrence in sterling silver, and is not a defect.
- When will my order ship? Will I receive a tracking number?
Orders placed online or by phone before 2:00 PM EST will be shipped the same day. You will receive an email from orders@liznicolejewelry.com with your order confirmation, ship date, and tracking number. If the item you ordered is out of stock, we will notify you of the expected ship date. If you don’t see a confirmation email, check your spam/junk mail folder. If you still don’t receive confirmation of your order, please feel free to contact us directly to check the status.
- Do you ship to International addresses and APO’s?
Yes, we are able to ship worldwide. For international orders, we ship via United States Postal Service First Class International Mail. This option has an estimated delivery time of 6-21 business days without a tracking number, but it’s an affordable and reliable selection. If you’ve placed an international order, and have not received your item after the 21st business day, please contact us. Also please be advised that any customs/fees/import taxes imposed by your country are not included in the shipping cost and are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
